Contact with the Supplier / Manufacturer
CBAM's biggest challenge is collecting emission data. This is data that has not been collected so far by either producers or suppliers/exporters, much less importers. Therefore, in order to facilitate this difficult obligation to collect data in the supply chain, which often consists of many entities, we have created a communication form that makes collecting data easier. The supplier may complete them himself or may delegate the obligation to the manufacturer.
What distinguishes us on the market is that we replace our clients and communicate with suppliers and manufacturers in order to collect data for the CBAM report. We do not charge additional fees, the service is provided as part of the subscription fee and the creation of a CBAM report.
To eliminate e-mails and the risk of not copying all data, we have created Reporting Assistant within the system communication form, after completing which the data goes to the client's report. The supplier of the imported goods and then the manufacturer receive information on what CBAM is, instructions dedicated to each of them and a demo with information on the scope, and support in filling in the data.
In correspondence for suppliers and manufacturers, we explain what CBAM is, what the legal obligation is, we indicate the legal basis and the website of the European Commission to demonstrate that the collection of data results from the legal obligation incumbent on the importer and that he must fulfill it in order to be able to purchase goods outside the European Union . We also explain step by step what data exactly must be provided in the form and how to fill it out.
We take over the correspondence, which makes it much easier for our clients to prepare the CBAM report.
